A couple weeks back in my “It’s Hot” blog I wrote about how hot it was for being this early in the season. Well, last night my thoughts were confirmed. “The hottest July in the history of Salt Lake City.” Yep, that’s right! Now my curiosity is getting to me. Will we break the record for the Hottest Summer on record? According to KSL.com the hottest summer on record was in 1994 we had 21 days of 100 plus degrees. Right now we are sitting at 18 days with a lot of summer left. Not that I am hoping for it , but I am in the air conditioning business.
My intentions in this blog were to find out when people feel the unofficial end of summer is? When fireworks are over? Is it when school starts? Or do you agree with me, Labor Day? My grandfather always said “It’s when the frost is on the pumpkin, Peter Dunkin.”
Change is around the corner! So what ever marks your end of summer, make the most of what you have left and enjoy the weather. We know your air conditioner has worked hard this summer. “Knock on wood” and “cross your fingers” for another month or so because furnaceseason is coming soon. So watch our web site Manwill.net for upcoming pre-season specials so your furnace will be prepared.
You never know what other records may be coming!!!
